Where The Wild Things Are now on DVD/BluRay

Yesterday, Warner Home Video released the wonderful film Where The Wild Things Are as a Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack. This is a great film that is definitely worth buying. It would make a great gift for older kids especially.

We reviewed the film when it opened in theatres on October 16th.

Our consensus was:

“Where The Wild Things Are is an interesting film, albiet a very dark one. This is a drama worth seeing for much older kids, teenagers and adults. ***1/2 (Out of 4)”

The BluRay Combo Pack contains more than an hour of special features, including:

• Higgelty Piggelty Pop! - An all new short featureing the voices of Meryl Streep and Forest Whitaker

• HBO First Look

• 8 Webisodes

The DVD contains:

• 4 webisodes

The film itself is 101 minutes and is rated PG. The discs include English, French, Latin Spanish, and Portuguese (BD only). Subtitling is in ESDH, French, and Latin Spanish.
